Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram

Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram, concluded its 20-day long summer camp for students last week. Eminent psychologist Dr. B.V. Pattabhi Ram and State Tribal Sports Officer S.V. Ramana were the guests on the occasion. Around 125 students from different schools took part in the summer camp and participated in activities like swimming, skating, gymnastics, karate, videography, animation, theatre arts, art and craft, lawn tennis, table tennis and yoga.

Classes on personality development were conducted by experts from different fields. The creativity of the students was brought to the fore at the art and craft exhibition. As for the art and craft session, a week-long Kalamkari art workshop was conducted by Padmashree and national award winner Sri Gurappachetty. Apart from this, students learned to convert waste material into beautiful productive things and the basics of skating. In theatrical arts, children were taught to make masks, develop script and enact it. On the concluding day, they staged a pantomime and a skit on Paramanandayya Shishyulu. Yoga and swimming were conducted daily.
