Government Boys H.S. School, Mettupalayam

A large number of students of the Government Boys H.S. School, Mettupalayam, Musiri taluk, participated in the youth motivation camp conducted by the Tiruchi District Cooperative Union. The Special Officer of the Union, S. Mathivanan, explained how the cooperative movement had benefited all sections of society. The milk cooperative societies and weavers’ cooperative societies have played a key role in the revival of the respective trades. The headm aster of the school, S. Periasamy, and teacher P. Ganesan also spoke.
