What’s on this summer?

Warm welcome:To summer

Come summer and one is at sea wondering what to do when not travelling or staying indoors. This year the city had a number of summer camps exclusively for children and there are more on the anvil.

Art activities

Crossword, the bookstore chain, organised a special arts and crafts fest exclusively for children at the Banjara Hills store. A special line up of exciting activities was planned. In addition, to enliven the camp further, there were tattoo artists, magicians and caricaturists.

Crossword also has an array of hobby and activity books to choose from like ‘First Things to Make and Do’, ‘501 Science Experiments’, ‘Belle Dress- up Doll Book’, and many more exclusive summer collection for children.

Another summer camp that just drew to a close was the Taurus Events do at Eat Street. Touted as a summer carnival, the week long event had a number of exciting activities for the kids. A mini mela of sorts was organised where the children were treated to all kinds of goodies, games, tattoos, caricatures in addition to a pottery and a lac bangle making demonstration. Also there were stalls selling jewellery, bangles, Madhubani paintings and more.

There were other attractions like a magic show, jugglery, a balloon twisters show and a puppet show.
