Everybody loves a good book…That was obvious from the many letters we received. Old favourites like Enid Blyton, Nancy Drew, Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes still rule. As for movies Taare Zameen Par was by far the hot favourite.
We could feature only a few of the letters. So take a look at what others are reading or watching!

From the series of Mary-Kate and Ashley comes one of my favourite books, So Little Time: Tell Me About It by Nancy Butcher, published by HarperCollins. The book is about two sisters, Chloe and Riley Carlson, who feel they are in a rut and want some spice in their lives.

Mary-Kate And Ashley – Two of a Kind series is my all time favourite. It is about twins and how they cope with life after the death of their mother.

Adolescence is a difficult age when one feels to know more and writing books for them is a difficult task also. But Babula Basu’s trilogy (It happened that year) handles almost all issues faced by the present day teenagers.

Jane Eyre is a well-turned tale spun exquisitely by Charlotte Bronte. This work of fiction is about a young girl, Jane Eyre who is an orphan and who had the misfortune to spend a part of her life with a guardian. I was enraptured by the seemingly simple yet suspense-filled nature of the book.

The Diary of Anne Frank is the most heart-rending account of the tragic events of Second World War and its impact on human beings that I have ever read. The book is written by a 13-year-old Jewish girl Anne Frank who went into hiding with her family during the Second World war.
