Government Girls H.S. School, Melur


World Earth Day was celebrated at Government Girls H.S. School, Melur. The National Green Corps coordinator, R. Umadevi, said it is the duty of students to maintain the sustainability of the earth. The headmistress, A. Rosaline Mary, urged the students to adopt measures to conserve the earth by using cloth bags and switching off electrical appliances, besides growing more number of plants.

The students cleaned the school campus and took a vow to keep it clean and tidy.
