Perfect sync: The drill
Exuberance and vitality prevailed at Kids’ Carnival of Nalanda Talent School held in the school premises recently in continuation of its decennial celebrations. Among the various items that students performed, the colourful drills with hoops were spectacular.
Challenges

There was a gamut of competitions organised like running race for nursery students, frog race for boys of upper kindergarten students, valentine race in which boys gave roses to girls and ran along with them and busting the balloons, among many others.
The programme started with a prayer song followed by a welcome address by head mistress P. Bhanu Shree in which she spoke about the importance of activities in pre- kindergarten curriculum, which hone the sensory, motor skills or their hand-eye coordination.
Professor of Psychology, Andhra University, P. Nirmala Devi, gave suggestions to parents about how children should be handled at the tender age.
Speaking on the occasion, the deputy director, P. Pulla Rao, said that students must be given the right exposure and should be trained to sharpen their skills and the importance of parents and teachers in moulding them in their formative years.
