Understanding special needs

A. B. SUDHINDRA

Empathise with the disabled not just sympathise.

“One world, one promise” is the theme of Scouts and Guides in the centenary year. Living up to its true spirit, the scouts and guides of Sri Vani Education Centre, Basaveshwaranagar, organised ‘Thinking Day’ at its Machohalli campus recently.

An all faith prayer was held in the lush green and peaceful surroundings. Many competitions such as cooking and sand sculpture and also a quiz were organised.

Winners received interesting books. Principal A. S. Dikshit and vice-principal R. H. Vani were present.
