Best Principal
Abida, Principal of Florence Public School, RT Nagar, received the Best Principal of Bangalore North District award by the Department of Education at a function held recently. An elated Ms. Abida said that she did not expect the award. “The award came as a surprise, because I have never worked all through my life expecting an award or any reward. To me my achievement lies in my students’ excellent performance ,” she said.
She says that she has always worked towards students’ success. She believes that the award was conferred on her for her hard work, enthusiasm and her contribution towards the 100 per cent pass result consistently in SSLC examinations and efficient administration. The criteria for selection is based on creating a conducive atmosphere for teaching as well as the non-teaching staff, maintaining cordial relation between parents, teachers and students, creating a co-operative and empathetic atmosphere for the children.
