Young film critics

THE TALENTED TWO: Rahul Bose and Konkana Sen

Students drawn from 19 prominent schools from Delhi and Jaipur participated in a Film Appreciation Programme conducted recently by Bluebells International School, as part of its "Lingua Fiesta" that is organised annually. The film which was reviewed was Aparna Sen's "15 Park Avenue".

The performance by Konkona Sen, Shabana Azmi and Rahul Bose were critically analysed along with the theme of schizophrenia. A student applied the theory of quantum mechanics to explain the disappearance of "Meethi" at the end of the film.Another film which came up for an on-the-spot review was "Mr. And Mrs. Iyer".

The prestigious Tagore Rolling Trophy was bagged by the vocal duo from Sanskriti School, Ashish Somasi and Amar Sarkar. The best speaker award was given to Deepak Thomas of Bluebells. Akshi Singh and Purvi Mathur from Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidhyalaya were the runners-ups and the third prize was bagged by Bluebells. The special moderator's prize was awarded to Vismaya Jain of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road.
