Hudhud strips Vizag. of its greenery

Visakhapatnam, the most beautiful city on the eastern coast of India, used to be a green city too with a number of trees concealing the concrete jungle to some extent and providing the much-needed relief to the denizens. The Hudhud Cyclone ravaged the entire city on 12 October 2014, Sunday converting the green city into a grey city with all trees raged to the ground on the hills and ground. The Hindu photographers K.R. Deepak, C.V. Subrahmanyam and A. Manikanta Kumar captured the scenario on Monday. »
