HYDERABAD: Middle-order batsman Ryan White struck a breezy century (104, 63 balls, 8x4, 4x6) to help Wellington School of Cricket record a thumping,256-run win over St. John's Juniors at Indus School here on Wednesday.

The New Zealand team, coached by former international Gavin Larsen, is in the city to play a few matches against local teams as part of the exchange programme the Wellington School signed with St. John's Cricket Coaching Foundation (Secunderabad) here.

On Tuesday, Deccan Chargers Juniors scored a 173-run win over the visitors at the same venue.

The scores: Wellington School of Cricket 345 for six (Luke Murray 50, Sam Keegan 57, Henry Walsh 62, Ryan White 104, Akhil Kosaraju three for 47) bt St. John's Jrs 89 (Henry Walsh two for 33, Will Brunton two for 18).

On Tuesday: Deccan Chargers Jrs. 344 for eight in 40 overs (Shadab Tumbi 76, Abhinay 58, G. Vaibhav 57, Rahul Singh 45, Niki Ziviloviz three for 59) bt Wellington School of Cricket, New Zealand, 171 in 29.5 overs ( Tim Brown 32, Gurusharan three for 49) .
