Australian Russell Ford then scored for Warriors in the 44th minute off a fine assist by Malak Singh. Australian Glenn Turner reduced the margin in the 54th minute deceiving custodian Japp Stockmann in a one-on-one situation.

Warriors also conceded a self goal in the 66th minute, the ball going in off skipper Jamie Dwyer’s stick, but held on from there to register their second win in the tournament.
