It will be another chance for the talented Sri Vaishnavi Peddi Reddy, but the second seeded Andhra girl will have a clutch of foreign players to contend with in her quarter in the ITF grade ‘III’ junior tennis tournament to be played here from Monday. Vaishnavi, who will start against Pei-Wen Kao of Chinese Taipei, had won three grade ‘IV’ tournaments recently, and will be keen to assert herself in a strong field in which Kim Dabin of Korea will be the top seed.
In the boys’ section, third-seeded Rishab Agarwal and seventh-seeded Sahil Deshmukh will try to make their way through in a competitive field.
