Another Haryana lad Naveen Kumar rewrote boys' under-18 javelin mark with an effort of 70.02m which was better than his statemate Sandeep's record of 63.46m set at Warangal in 2006.
Sandeep of Haryana dominated the 400m race for boys' U-18 with a record time of 47.65s which obliterated N.P. Vinu's mark of 48.38s set at Jamshedpur in 2004.
