PUNE: The Indian girls suffered another jolt as the team lost 37-95 to Chinese Taipei in a group ‘A’ league match of the Asian under-16 basketball championship here on Wednesday.

After an encouraging start against Philippines, India has been struggling against the quality teams, and will need a miracle to make it to the semifinals in the 12-team competition.

The top two teams from the two groups make the semifinals.
