KOCHI: With top stars Gurusai Dutt and Arundhati Pantawane crashing out in the second round, the Indian campaign ended in singles at the Asian junior badminton championship in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

However, there was some consolation, with the mixed doubles pair of Sumeeth Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa moving to the pre-quarterfinals with a comfortable victory over a Philippines team.
