A match-winning century by opener Sukhman (129 not out off just 109 balls) and useful contributions from Amit Beru and Nakul Chopra helped Malik Sports beat Subhania Cricket Club by five wickets and enter the pre-quarterfinals of the 23rd all-India Om Nath Sood memorial cricket tournament at the Pitampura grounds on Tuesday.
For Subhania, Vaibhav Sharma scored 99 off 97 balls with seven fours and a six.
Sukhman was named man-of-the-match.

Nitish Lochab’s unbeaten 153 (105b, 22x4, 3x6) powered Vidya Jain Academy to a six-wicket win over Youngsters Club in the third all-India MK Group prize money cricket tournament at Mohan Meakin Ground. The win helped Vidya Jain make it to the semifinals.
Lochab was adjudged man-of-the-match.
