The scores (semifinals): JSS International School 103 (M.F. Daniel four for 15, K. Sowrash three for 23) lost to Stanes HSS 104 for five in 19.4 overs (K. Sowrash 35, S. Sujith three for 23); Laidlaw MS 143 for four in 30 overs (R.K. Moxit 46, Armaan Mathew 30 not out) tied with Riverside PS 143 for eight in 30 overs (B. Ashwin 35). (Laidlaw declared winners as they had lost lesser number of wickets) .

Kalidhasan sizzles

At Krishnagiri, a fine knock of 86 by A. Kalidhasan enabled Rising Star Cricket Club score a 87-run win over Future Cricket Club in the TNCA-KDCA first division league recently.

The scores: First division: Rising Star CC 207 in 40.3 overs (A. Kalidhasan 86, Gopi six for 56) bt Future CC 120 in 29.3 overs (P. Praveen four for 19, Premnath 49).
