St. Philomena’s HS registered a 3-2 win over St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar, via tie-breaker in the final and clinched the trophy in the Mysore leg of the Coca-Cola sub-junior National level football tournament for high school boys, conducted by the MDFA under the aegis of KSFA, at the University football grounds here on Saturday. The teams were goalless at the end of regulation time.

Darshan, Pruthvi Shekar and Md. Younis converted for St. Philomena’s, while Syed and Prapanj scored for St. Joseph’s. Both teams have qualified for the State-level tournament to be held at Bangalore next month. — Correspondent
