KOCHI: The net profit of the Kochi-based Sree Sakthi Paper Mills went up by 42.67 per cent to touch Rs.146.58 lakh in the quarter ended June 30, 2010 against Rs. 102.74 lakh in the year-ago period. 

The turnover during the quarter rose 33.14 per cent to Rs.4,367.60 lakh from Rs.3,280.38 lakh a year ago, it said. In the 12 months ending March 31, 2010, the company's net profit rose 40 per cent to touch Rs.464.43 lakh from Rs.331.79 lakh the previous year. The board had recommended a dividend of 18 per cent for 2009-10 including a 9 per cent interim dividend.
