Pragati in final

Tamil Nadu’s Pragati Nataraj entered the final of the R.R. Memorial tennis tournament in the girls’ under-16 & 18 categories at Madurai on Thursday.

In the under-16 semifinal, Pragati defeated State-mate Madhumitha Meenakshi 7-6(2), 6-3, while in the under-18 category, she beat Deepika Kumaran (also of Tamil Nadu) 6-1, 5-7, 6-0.

Rahul to meet Nikshep

In the boys’ section Tamil Nadu’s M. Rahul Robinson will meet B.R. Nikshep of Karnataka in the under-18 final, while Sumit Paul Singh of Jammu and Kashmir will clash with Tamil Nadu’s Raswant Ravi in the under-16 final.
