Mumbai: Suresh Raina's nascent career suffered a setback with a damaged knee rendering him out of action for at least three months and thus making him unavailable for the three-week tour of Bangladesh in May.

The 21-year-old Uttar Pradesh left-hander underwent a surgery here last week to mend his twisted left knee, the misfortune occurring during the Central Zone one-day tournament played at Indore. He was operated by Dr. Anant Joshi, a Sports Medicine expert and the BCCI's medical advisor. Special Correspondent
