Kerala’s Sandeep Warrier, who had an impressive Ranji debut last season, has been included in India’s emerging bowlers’ camp by the BCCI’s selection committee as part of the future development plan.

The camp will be held at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore from July 8 to 20.

Fast bowler Sandeep, who hails from Thrissur, took 24 wickets from five matches in his debut first-class season.

He has also played in the Deodhar and Vizzy Trophies and for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and won the Kerala Cricket Association’s best fast bowler award recently. — Special Correspondent
