The St. Joseph's College of Engineering is conducting a four day seminar with the Special Olympics Asia-Pacific at the college campus. Delegates from SAARC countries and National sports directors from Afghanisatn, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are taking part in the seminar.

Dr. Babu Manoharan, director, St. Joseph's College of Engineering, inaugurated the training programme and Mr. Simon Kho, director, Orgnisation and Development, gave the keynote address. Dr. M.S. Nagarajan, regional manager, briefed the gathering on the features of World Winter Games to be held at Pyeongchang (Korea) in 2013 and the World Summer Games (2015) in United States. — Special Correspondent
