Railways is likely to play its home matches at the Jamia Millia Islamia University ground in the 2013-14 Ranji Trophy season. It had earlier planned to play those games in Bhubaneswar.

The Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) has written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) requesting a change in venue. Railways’ original home, Karnail Singh Stadium, was banned by the BCCI last year, forcing the team to shift base to Bhubaneswar.
