Riya Mookherjee of Bengal moved into the final of the under-15 singles for girls in the sub-junior National badminton championship at Patna. She defeated fourth-seeded Sreyanshi Pardeshi of Madhya Pradesh 21-16, 21-14 in the semifinals. Arintap Dasgupta lost to M. Kanishk of AP in the quarterfinals of the boys’ under-15 event 21-12, 21-10.

Mohammad Saif Khan won the State sub-junior snooker title beating Animesh Fatapuria 2-0.
