RDT Hockey Academy and Government Sports School (GSS, Kudige) played out an exciting 3-3 draw in a C Division hockey league encounter at the KSHA stadium here on Tuesday.

Consistent goal-scorer Shiva put RDT in the lead in the fifth and again in the 17th minute. Sonal (15th) and an own goal by a RDT defender five minutes later saw the scoreline level at 2-2. However, Sanjeev Kumar scored in the 31{+s}t minute to put the Kudige boys ahead. But the joy was short-lived as Jaswanth Kumar equalised in the 37th to help RDT share the points.

The result: RDT HA 3 (Shiva 5 & 17, Jaswanth Kumar 37) drew with GSS, Kudige 3 (Sonal 15, og, Sanjeev Kumar 31).

Rajwa Mella delights

Wheelchair tennis

: The Karnataka Wheelchair Tennis Association under the aegis of the Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis Federation of India and Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) will be conducting the 3rd National Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis championship at the KSLTA courts from November 8 to 11.

About 75 players from nearly 15 states are expected to participate in the championship.
