NEW DELHI: Overnight leader Rashid Khan stretched his lead to five shots and inched closer to the Northern India junior golf title in spite of an error-filled third and penultimate round here on Thursday.

Rashid shot a one-over 73, his worst effort in three days, but it was still good enough to move further away from Chikkarangappa who carded a 76.

Chetan scores century

A superb 109 off 51 balls with nine sixes and five fours by Chetan Sharma helped Vidya Jain Academy to a 105-run victory over Gush Club in the semifinals of the Delhi Premier League cricket tournament.

Rishabh, Sidhant shine

Half-centuries by Rishabh and Sidhant Dobal helped Ravindra Academy to a 110-run victory over Janakpuri Academy and a semifinal berth in the Ram Babu Gupta memorial cricket tournament.

The scores: Ravindra Academy 187 for six in 20 overs (Rishabh 71, Sidhant Dobal 51 not out) beat Janakpuri Academy 77 in 16 overs.
