Hyderabad’s middle-order batsman Rakesh Kumar (105 n.o., 320b, 17x4) and tail-ender Sai Teja (52 n.o., 96b, 11x4) shared an unbeaten 96-run stand for the ninth wicket to defy Andhra and force a draw in a Vijay Merchant Trophy South Zone under-16 cricket tournament league match here on Thursday.

Andhra, in spite of posting a 500-plus total, had to settle for one point along with Hyderabad as the first innings of the match did not conclude.
