BANGALORE: Premlal Sharma won the gold in the men's 75-plus pole vault event on the penultimate day of the 14th Asia Masters Athletic championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Saturday.

K.G.G. Menike of Sri Lanka was another notable performer of the day, winning her second gold with a 1:16.5s effort to claim the 300m hurdles in the women's 55-plus category. Earlier, Menike had won the 200 metres on Friday.
