Prakash Amritraj, in partnership with Rajeev Ram of the US, knocked out the top-seeded Rik de Voest of South Africa and Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil 7-5, 6-4 in the doubles quarterfinals of the Soweto Open Challenger tennis tournament in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Wednesday.

Second seeds Purav Raja and Divij Sharan also made the semifinals with a 6-3, 7-6(3), victory over Fabiano De Paula and Thales Turini of Brazil.
