Boonsak Ponsana defeated Anand Pawar 21-9, 21-11 in the men’s singles quarterfinals of the German Open badminton championship in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany on Friday.
Meanwhile in the mixed doubles pre-quarterfinals, the English pair of Chris Adcock and Gabrielle White got the better of the Indian combination of Tarun Kona and Ashwini Ponnappa of India 21-13, 21-15.
