ONGC men and Indian Oil Corporation women emerged champions in the All India Public Sector badminton tournament at KVBR Indoor Stadium here on Thursday.

ONGC defeated Air India 3-0 in the men's final, while IOC put it across Airports Authority of India 2-1 in the women's summit clash.

Men: Final: ONGC bt Air India 3-0 (B. Sai Praneeth bt Gopi Raju 21-12, 21-14; Sourabh Verma bt Aditya Joshi 21-16, 21-9; Sai Praneeth & Pranav Chopra bt Akshay Dewalkar & Manu Atri 20-22, 21-16, 21-19).

Semifinals: ONGC bt AAI 3-0 (Sourabh bt B. Sumeeth Reddy 21-14, 21-16; H.S. Prannoy bt C. Rohit Yadav 21-14, 8-3 conceded; Sai Praneeth & Pranav bt B. Sumeeth Reddy & Saurav Kapoor 21-16, 15-21, 21-15).

Air India bt FCI 3-1 (Gopi Raju bt Mayank Behl 21-13, 17-21, 21-13; Jishnu Sayal lost to N. Srujan 21-16, 19-21, 7-21; Dewalkar & Atti bt Mayank Behl & Alwin Francis 21-18, 21-15; Joshi bt Kaushik Pal 21-7, 21-8).

Women: Final: IOC bt AAI 2-1 (Rituparna Das lost to Neha Pandit 21-18, 19-21, 13-21; Aparna Balan bt Sikki Reddy 21-13, 11-7 concd.; Prajakta Sawant & Trupti Murgunde bt Mohita & Sikki Reddy 22-20, 21-7).

Semifinals: AAI bt LIC 2-0 (Neha bt Leena Dhapee 21-4, 21-6; Sikki Reddy & Mohita Sahadev bt Vaishali Agashe & Kavita Dixit 21-6, 2-0 cond).
