HYDERABAD: Mumbai batted superbly to post 198 for one on the second day of the Ranji Trophy Super League match at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on Wednesday.

Sahil Kukreja (87 batting, 278m, 188b, 5x4, 2x6) and Ajinkya Rahane (89 batting, 229m, 185b, 10 x 4) were at the crease.

Earlier, Hyderabad’s Ahmed Quadri scored a superbly-paced unbeaten 76 to help his team post 266 in the first innings.

The Hyderabad bowlers struggled to find rhythm on a pitch where the bowlers were expected to be nippy and accurate. Even M.P. Arjun, who forced opener Vinayak Samant to snick to the wicketkeeper, looked ordinary later on.
