Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan did his confidence a world of good as he stepped up to the next level and won a round in the $50,000 Challenger tennis tournament in An-ning, China.
The 24-year-old Jeevan defeated the seventh-seeded Vincent Millot of France in three sets before losing to Danilo Petrovic of Serbia in straight sets on Wednesday.

The results: Pre-quarterfinals: Danilo Petrovic (Srb) bt Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan 6-4, 6-4.
