Mihika Yadav knocked out the top-seeded Simran Kaur Sethi 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 in the girls’ pre-quarterfinals of the ITF grade-4 junior tennis tournament at the CCI on Wednesday.

In another girls’ match, Devanshi Bhimjiyani showed the door to the second-seeded Habiba Lasheen of Egypt with a straight-set victory.

Meanwhile, the champion of the last event in Delhi, Vasanti Shinde was beaten 6-2, 6-1 by Anastasiya Klymenko of Ukraine.
