Thirty of India’s top bodybuilders, including world champion A. Bobby Singh of Indian Railways, Asian champion Murali Kumar of Indian Navy, Asian Championships silver medallist Ankur Sharma of Delhi to name a few, will compete for honours at the Talwarkars Classique 2013.

The pre-judging will be held on Nov. 26 and the top 10 bodybuilders will be shortlisted for the final round on Nov. 27.

The invitation event is being staged to mark the 80th birthday celebrations of fitness pioneer Madhukar Talwarkar and conducted by the Maharashtra Body Building Association under the auspices of the Indian Body Building Federation.

Leading bodybuilders representing institutions like Services, Railways, Haryana Police and numerous states like Delhi, Punjab, Hayana, Kerala and Maharashtra will take part in the event.

The winner will be richer by Rs. 3 lakh, runner-up by Rs. 2 lakh, and the third-placed competitor by Rs. 1 lakh. — Special Correspondent
