Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Ryan McLaren took four wickets each but New Zealand posted a challenging 260 for nine in the third and final one-dayer against South Africa on Friday.
The Kiwis were propelled by half-centuries from Grant Elliott, Colin Munro and James Franklin after they were struggling at 96 for four after 30 overs. The last 20 overs yielded 164.
Tsotsobe took four for 45 and McLaren four for 52, but the South African bowlers were unable to stem the flow of runs towards the end of the New Zealand innings.
The Kiwis enjoy an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. — AFP
