Goli Lasya won the Andhra Pradesh ‘B’ women's chess championship by garnering six points in as many rounds at Vijayawada, on Friday.

Lasya, along with A. Kavya (5), P. Supreetha (5) and V.S.S. Priya (4.5) will represent Andhra Pradesh in the National women ‘B’ championship at Thrissur from July 25.

Prasad hits 56

Prasad’s half century helped Krishna finish at 78 for two in 22 overs against West Godavari’s 154 at the end of the second day’s play in the three-day ACA Central Zone senior inter-district tournament at Siddhartha Medical College (Vijayawada) on Friday.

No play was possible for the second day between Prakasam and Guntur at Mangalagiri owing to rains.
