NEW DELHI: Lajja Gauswami finished fourth with a total of 682.1 in the women's 50-metre rifle 3-position event in the shooting World Cup in Fort Benning, US.

The psychology graduate from Gujarat, Lajja shot 101.1 in the final, the best among the eight finalists, after scoring 581 in the qualification phase. She missed the bronze by 1.2 points, to Zheng Feng of China who had shot 583 in qualification.

It was the fourth time that Lajja, supported by the Mittal Champions Trust, was making it to the final of the 3-position event in a World Cup.
