The Indian girls were overwhelmed 106-56 by Korea which had led 56-22 at halftime, in the last league match of the FIBA Asia under-16 basketball championship in Colombo on Wednesday.

Lopamudra Thimmaiah top-scored for India with nine points. India will play Kazakhstan in the relegation play-off match. While India finished fifth among six in Level ‘I’, Kazakhstan had finished second in Level ‘II’ with three wins and two losses.
