The Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association secretary S.M. Sultan on Monday said that Arjuna awardee and 10-time National champion Kamalesh Mehta would organise a residential coaching camp for AP paddlers from April 18 to 28 at Rajahmundry (J.K. Gardens).

“Ten STAG 1000 deluxe tables with terraflex flooring is being arranged by Bhaskar Ram, president of Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association, thus creating an international standard arena for the players to practice.

“All the players will be accommodated in 12 air conditioned rooms annexed to the playing arena. The food facility is being extended by Hotel Anand Regency,” he added.

Sultan said for the first time a coaching camp of this magnitude was being arranged at Rajahmundry. “Kamlesh will be assisted by two AP coaches - Venu Gopal Rao of Kakinada and M. Venugopal of Secunderabad.”
