Second seed Natasha Palha set up a women’s final showdown with Sharmada Balu in the 2013 Omkar all-India ranking tennis championship after both won their semifinals in straight sets on Friday.
In the men’s competition, defending champion A.S. Suresh Krishna advanced to the semifinals after his eighth-seeded opponent Abhijeet Tiwari was ejected from the tournament following a heated exchange with the chair umpire.
