Jerusalem: An Indian-born Israeli cricket umpire, Naor Gudker, was honoured by Israel’s Sports Authority for his outstanding contribution to the game here.

Gudker was given the award by Minister of Science, Culture and Sport, Rajeb Majdale in the “Match Officials of the Decade, non-Olympic sports” category for serving as an umpire in European Cricket Council (ECC) panel with distinction. — PTI
