India loses in quarterfinals

Host Thailand brushed aside India 25-13, 25-21, 25-15 and entered the semifinals of the Asian junior girls volleyball championship at Nakhon Pathom on Sunday.

India will now play Iran for positions 5 to 8.

Meanwhile, China, Japan and Chinese Taipei joined Thailand in the semifinals.
