The 118th edition of the IFA Shield football finally gained full attendance with the two foreign outfits — Geylang International FC of Singapore and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi of Bangladesh — making it to the city three days later than scheduled.

The teams cited visa problems for the delay.

The IFA, which had to postpone the first matches of both these teams, now will have to find two slots in a tight group league fixture.

Geylang starts its campaign on Saturday taking on former champion East Bengal while Dhanmondi will meet Kolkata’s Mohammedan Sporting a day later.

Saturday’s matches: Group I:

East Bengal vs Geylang International FC.
