HYDERABAD: Aadesh Kumar, rider of Royal View, in the Treasure Leaf Plate (1400m) run on Jan. 2 was fined Rs.2000 for allowing his mount to shift in at about 600m and thus tightening Commando Chief (D. Singh) and again in the straight at about 300m when subjected to the whip shifted in causing interference to Albuquerque (Suraj Narredu).
In the Twin Roses Plate (2200m), jockeys Qazafi (Scenario) and K. Suresh (Fire Lover) were fined Rs.1000 each for taking a long lead resulting in their respective mounts fading out in the final straight.
In the Prince Mouzam Jah Bahadur Memorial Cup (1200m), jockey Rutherford Alfrod was fined Rs.2000 for making no effort to prevent his mount from drifting in soon after the start and in the process bumping Bruno Magli (R. B. Shinde) who in turn shifted in crowding the runners on his inside resulting in severe interference to Sugar Mine (Ch. K. Chary) and Master Prospect (B. Shanker).
In the Romantic Fantasy Plate (Div. II) (1400m), jockey R.B.Shinde (Raise The Moon) was fined Rs.1000 for using the whip on the right when his mount was tending to drift out in the final stages of the race, in the process, forcing out Sparkling Colours (M.F.Ali Khan).
The Stewards suspended the `A' trainer's licence granted to K.S.V.Prasad Raju under the HRC Rules of Racing with effect from January 3 2006 up to and including February 1 2006, for the presence of Ketorolac found in the urine sample drawn from his charge Hunting Hawk (R.B.Shinde) winner of The S.S.Cardmaster Memorial Cup, run on Sept. 5, 2005 and for the presence of 4-Methylaminophenazone in the urine sample drawn from his charge Royal Flyer (G.B.Khade) winner of The Cabaret Plate run on Dec. 11, 2005.
The Stewards further resolved to fine Trainer K.S.V.Prasad Raju a sum of Rs.55,000 and disqualified the above two horses from their respective races mentioned above and ordered revised placings.
