Captain Ashwin Hebbar compiled a century (106, 13x4, 1x6, 162b) to help Andhra take a 99-run lead over Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Merchant Trophy South Zone inter-State under-16 tournament league match here on Monday.

D.S.K.S. Nikhil pushed Tamil Nadu into more trouble by taking two wickets for six runs in the second innings. At stumps on the second day, Tamil Nadu was 55 for three.

Off-spinner Vedanta A. Nayak's seven for 70 sunk Karnataka as Goa took a 112-run lead. K.S.K. Chaitanya, who is on the verge of a century, helped Hyderabad to take a good lead over Kerala.
