“We have lost an outstanding administrator. He knew everything about the sport. He was a kind dictator. Most important, he never interfered in selection matters,” said G. Jagannath, former National champion on the demise of T.D. Rangaramanujam.

V. Chandrasekar, former National champion said: “A doyen among sports administrators. Personally he was a very good friend of mine. From a humble position, he rose to such great heights. What was great about him was his complete hold of table tennis in India and abroad.”

C.L. Nithyanandam, International umpire said: “He has a done a lot for the sport. He was easily the finest administrators in India and possibly one of the best in the world. I have seen him from close quarters. It will be difficult to replace him. He was friendly with everybody.” — Special Correspondcent
