Haryana, spearheaded by Vijayant Malik, warmed up for the tougher challenge ahead with a 3-0 victory over Gujarat in the quarterfinals of the National inter-State tennis championship here on Thursday.
Haryana will face top-seeded Tamil Nadu in the semifinals.
Tamil Nadu, with two solid players in Sriram Balaji and Vijay Sundar Prashanth, dropped only four games in all in its 3-0 victory over Andhra Pradesh.

Second seed Maharashtra conceded its doubles after making it 2-0 against Nagaland. Former National Nitten Kirrtane proved too crafty for Vilasier Khate after Ronak Manuja had won the first singles.
